Listen to some inspirational poetry this Friday afternoon at our ‘Pennies for Poems’ event

The MicroLoan Foundation is delighted to announce its new poet in residence, Beth Noble.

“I have always had a keen interest in international development and womens’ issues” says Beth. “Being a mum and self-taught poet and artist, I’d love to help other women in Africa fulfil their dreams and get their own businesses off the ground.”

Beth writes to remind herself, and others, that in the emotional realm lies our shared humanity and that by reaching out and embracing our unique journey, we can find love, compassion and kindness for ourselves and each other.

“I am very grateful for all that life has taught me and I hope that in some small way, I may help others on their path by sharing what I have learned so far,” says Beth.

Beth will be reading a selection of her inspirational poems from her first publication, “Evolution: A Creative Journey to Inner Peace at our special “Pennies for Poems” event at the Barley Mow Centre in Chiswick at 3pm on the 15TH April.

We are inviting everyone who would like to attend to make a donation of £5 on Beth’s website:uk.virginmoneygiving.com/penniesforpoems and then send a confirmation email to:[email protected] or phone: 020 8827 1691. Light refreshments will be provided.

This forms part of many exciting fundraising events in the lead up to our Guinness World Record attempt to create the longest line of pennies on July 9th and 10th at Chiswick Communty School. We are going to need more than 4 million pennies, 1000 volunteers and 50 miles of selotape to make the event possible! If you’d like to get involved, let us know.

Beth’s book, “Evolution: A Creative Journey to Inner Peace” is available on amazon.co.uk. For media interviews with Beth, please contact Sarah Parfitt on: 07900 4117 15 or on email:[email protected]
