MicroLoan would like to thank Sapient’s trainees for making a massive effort in our Start Something Challenge. Using their entrepreneurial skills and seed funding, the team of six raised over £600 for the charity. Of the several ideas, the winning one was “guess the sweets in the jar”, which raised over 50% of the money and rewarded Ifra the prize of being the best seller.
The Start Something Challenge was a great opportunity for the trainees to develop their leadership, creativity, team and selling skills. “It was an incredible team effort to achieve our fundraising target for MLF and a rewarding experience to see the enthusiasm within the team” – Kenny Fong, Project Manager for Sapient Apprentice Team.
The money raised will go towards supporting over 100 women with loans and training and help them to set up small businesses, lifting themselves and families out of poverty. “The success stories from MLF are truly inspirational. It was fabulous to see our teams come together to raise awareness of such worthy causes” – Conor Ogle, VP Sapient Consulting.
