Hello and welcome to our Spring newsletter. When we last spoke in January our minds were on the terrible floods that beset Malawi. Today we bring you an update and report how your support made the world of difference.
We also share news of exciting activities to bolster our funds and help promote the great work of MicroLoan Foundation. Last night we met over 150 supporters at a special event at Christie’s organised by our Women’s Development Board. Nick O’Donohoe from Big Society Capital delivered a brilliant speech and we raised over £30,000.
May I take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your continued support.
CEO MicroLoan Foundation
We are delighted to announce that MLF is the subject of a BBC Lifeline Appeal being aired on May 17th. Business Leader and Micro Finance advocate Deborah Meaden has generously agreed to make a short film about our work. We will be upping our social media activity around the event. The underlining theme of this work is our new #StartSomething Campaign. Please retweet us and help us spread the word @MicroLoan
Huge thanks also to Gabby Logan for being the voice to a new animation explaining what we do: https://youtu.be/hZ3sXdzUIAo
